RAGING STORM!

We just went through the ultimate storm. Flooding is bad everywhere, inside and outside. Even though we paid a guy to fix the roof so that we would no longer experience the leaks I wrote about before, my room is full of water. The water runs out of my room and out into the living room. We have to keep pushing it outside. Outside is even worse.

I heard you can't even get to Manila because of flooding. People are walking in waist deep water. Vegetables and other produce have doubled in price overnight. People were at the mall stocking up. The parking lots were all full. They say this is the worst storm in recited history. I may have mentioned before that we were expecting "the big one". This was it.

We were busy dealing with the water issues when we heard a loud popping. This was the same popping sound that preceeded our electric box burning out back in May, which led to three weeks of no electricity. Dylan actually saw the outlet. It was outside, uncovered in the carport, getting wet with fire coming out. He rushed to the electric box and shut off the breaker for all downstairs electricity. We were saved from a repeat of that electric company fiasco of months past.

Today we went to the hardware store and bought some wire caps. Dylan cut the wires to the outside, exposed outlet and capped them off. We just now turned the electric back on and all is well. For now. Hehehe
