SETTLING IN

So I've been here for about a week now. I am staying with my friend as there seems to be some dispute over the rights to the second house he rented, and the landlady seems to want his stuff out and is unwilling to allow any guests. Strange, seeing as he already paid, but this is another country. Having met the landlady, I don't think I want to live anywhere near her anyway, so all things work out as they should in my mind.

I am more relaxed already, and have a computer to work on, so I am drawing again. It feels good. My business is already picking up. I have new ideas and inspiration. Getting back to the slower pace of life here was just what the doctor ordered. Right now I just relax and draw.

Yesterday we went to SM Molino, the smaller of the three major malls in this area. They actually had a WENDY'S! Of course I had to get a frosty. I also saw the all to familiar Jollibee and Chow King restaurants which I have so missed while in Korea. We went to the big supermarket, called a hypermarket, and they had everything! Prices actually seemed a tad more than Ayala in Cebu City, but still super cheap. Gorgeous girls were everywhere, but that's another story.
