LOOKING FOR GROUP?
Our party of four, me, Victor, Sally and Jerry, which have been together 24/7 since November is no more. This morning, Victor and Sally boarded a bus headed for the airport where they will be taking off to Australia. Sally hopes to make a better life for herself than she believes she can do here and Victor seems to be reluctantly following her, even though he has no end of opportunities right here at home, being a 3 time champion bodybuilder and having trained a famous actor.
Now me and Jerry remain here in Korea with the family and it will be interesting to see what happens next. There is talk of a trip to Japan where me and Jerry will go visit her aunt, her mother's sister, who married a Japanese man and lives in Kyoto. There is also talk of Jerry working hard for a couple of months and saving up enough money to follow Victor and Sally to Australia. Who knows what will really happen?
I personally have no desire to go to Australia, or any Western country for that matter, as I think they will be too similar to America which I just left. Although I realize America, Australia and England have different cultures, by comparison to the Philippines, Japan or Korea, I think it's safe to say they are pretty much the same, and I am not interested in the slightest.
My client, a successful business man, also travels a lot, as much as once per month, and has many times been to the Philippines, Australia, America, Thailand and many other places. We have also talked about traveling at some point. Me? I definitely like the idea of a Japan trip. I also like the idea of visiting the Philippines again. There are many places I still want to see, but Western countries just aren't high on the list. I may drop by to visit them at some point, if they all end up in Australia, but I am sure it will be a short visit. Since I hear it's a 9 hour flight, even that is not sounding to appealing right now.
Starting tomorrow I guess I'll either be hitting the gym to train by myself or working out with Victor's father depending on the time. (He goes really early before work I think) Having sold my Apple computer, I also need to get another, but with Tablet PCs being cheap here I want to save up a bit more and get one of those. I've been getting a lot of orders for drawing lately.
Although the four of us are not together, things have really been picking up for me on the whole. Everything is "clicking" and I am fast making amazing connections as if by chance. People who have connections to major actors or producers, a movie director and many more. South Korea certainly seems to have been the best move for me to make. On the other hand, we also have been getting caught up in this Diablo style RPG called Dekaron and I could easily see myself losing way too many hours to that game!
